STEAM CYLINDER OILS (SPEL CYL TC 460, 680, 1000)

These are Steam Cylinder Oils formulated from high viscosity index heavy viscosity base stocks having enhanced lubricating properties and thermal stability. They have excellent oiliness and film strength characteristics, maximum resistance to washing effect of moisture and excellent load carrying ability. These grades are compounded with special fatty oil and contain adhesive agent.

These oils are recommended for Steam Engines operating under wet saturated steam conditions. These are widely used in Calendar Bearings and Sugar Mill Roller Bearings and for lubrications of worm gears.

OPEN GEAR COMPOUNDS

SPEL COAT 110, 120, 140

These are Open Gear Compounds heavy viscous, adhesive type black petroleum products fortified with special tackiness agent which reduces oil consumption. They all have pronounced stringiness and excellent film strength to withstand high pressure encountered in heavily loaded open gears. They also possess good Rust Preventive Properties and have ability to stay in place and provide long lasting protection to Ropes and Open Gears.

These compounds are specially recommended for lubrication of conventional Open Gears, Cables and Wire Ropes.
