SPEL NoNOx is a non toxic, non petroleum solution & key elements of SCR (Selective Catalyst Reduction) process. When injected into hot exhaust as a fine mist & passed over catalyst, DEF helps convert NOx (Nitrogen Oxide) into Nitrogen Gas & Water Vapor, 2 clean & harmless components of the air. DEF is stable, colorless, odorless & meeting ISO 22241-1 quality standard for purity & composition. SCR uses basic chemistry to reduce NOx emissions emitted by diesel engines through a process that is simple, extremely efficient, very reliable & safe. Its effective in controlling the emission of NOx from SCR automotive catalyst operation in stationary sources such as power plants, diesel power cars, trucks, buses, trains, ships & heavy duty & off road engines compliant with BS IV or EURO 4 standards lower the fuel consumption by 3 to 4 % in case of engines compliant with the EURO 5 or BS V
